Who says cloudy sessions can’t be beautiful too? As much as I love good backlighting in my sunset sessions, a cloudy day provides soft, even light no matter what direction you face. Cloudy days give me the freedom to place my clients wherever I want at the location because there aren’t any harsh shadows. 

I just love this family! If you have visited my website, you probably recognize the couple in these photos or at least my beautiful cousin, Jodie. She and Nick graciously let me practice on them back in 2019 when I was trying to figure out my camera settings and how to pose people. There is a photo I took of Jodie from her maternity session that is still to this day my absolute FAVORITE of an expecting mama. Jodie & Nick, I loved having you two in front of my camera again — and this time with Ray! He is so much fun and really is the perfect combination of you both. This is such a beautiful stage of life you are in right now, and I love that I was able to capture it for you!
