I was so excited to finally meet miss Gwenivere and take her one year photos! When her mama and I were discussing locations for her session, she told me about Koteewi Park in Noblesville. This pretty park has so many great areas for photos!

I am often asked what props to bring for milestone sessions, and honestly.. I think less is best! Props can be cute, but they can also be very distracting. Little to no props helps keep the focus where it should be – on your little one! I also just really love the simple and timeless look to these images.

We kept Gwen’s session very simple with only one outfit and some cake at the end. I am obsessed with her little romper with the ruffle in the back and her floral headband that has a subtle pop of color. Gwen LOVED the cake (that her grandma made for her!) and had it completely smashed by the end of her session.
