Two weeks ago, we photographed Luke & Logan’s wedding at New Journey Farms. If you’ve been following me for a while now, you probably remember seeing their engagement photos in the cornfields of Luke’s family farm last summer. Luke and Logan were the first couple to choose us to be their wedding photographers, and we have been looking forward to this day for over a year now! We are so thankful that they trusted us to capture such an important day in their lives.
Their wedding was one of the sweetest and most heartfelt weddings I’ve ever been to. They chose to not see each other before the ceremony. Instead we photographed an intimate moment between them opening their gifts to each other and reading the sweet letters that they wrote to one other. As Luke opened his gift, we watched him open a study Bible from Logan that was filled with notes from the past several months leading up to the wedding. It brought him to tears, and us too! Their ceremony was such a beautiful representation of not only the blending of two people, but also the blending of their families. Their parents and grandparents all brought soil from their homes, and poured it on to a tree that they later planted on Luke’s family farm. This was such a special way to honor their parents and grandparents.
Luke & Logan, it was both an honor and a privilege to photograph your beautiful wedding day. We loved the way that you honored God throughout the entire day and pray He blesses your marriage over the years to come. We will never forget this day or you and your families!
