Aeja & Tyler | A Spring Wedding at the Barn at Hamner Ridge | Edinburgh, Indiana

I am SO excited to share my very first WEDDING blog post with you today! That’s right! My husband and I photographed this beautiful wedding day over the weekend for my friend from nursing school. It was so special to be able to capture one of the most important days of her life and celebrate with her family!

I would be lying if I said that I was not a little bit nervous. It is such an honor to document someone’s wedding day, and it is something that we don’t take for granted. There are also so many things to think about on a wedding day, and I didn’t want to miss a thing. On our ride home together, Jordon and I both agreed that we could not have asked for a better first wedding to photograph. First, the weather was great – sunny, warm, and not a cloud in the sky. The venue was beautiful, and the owners are so sweet and helpful! The bride and groom are adorable! It was their first time in front of our cameras, but they flew through the posing like naturals! Lastly, their families and friends were amazing! Everyone was so nice and fun to be around. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles, and it was obvious how loved Aeja and Tyler are. I watched Tyler hug every single one of the bridesmaids when he saw them for the first time before the ceremony, and I couldn’t help but smile! The groomsmen were so cute when they saw Aeja for the first time in her dress too.

Aeja and Tyler, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your special day! It was seriously such a beautiful wedding. I can’t wait for you to look through all of these images and see just how beautiful it was. We love you guys, and we are so happy for you!!
