Last week I kicked of my 2022 photography year with one of my FAVORITE families — the Kennedys! If you have been around here for awhile, you know that Mary Kathryn is one of my best friends! We have been friends since college, and watching her family grow has been so wonderful to see! I got to meet the newest member of her family, Vivian! She is 3 months old and absolutely beautiful just like her mama 🙂

Originally we had planned an in-home session for them, but we ended up using my new studio space instead! That’s right, MY NEW STUDIO SPACE! At the beginning of the year I had seen an advertisement for a studio membership at a local studio in Speedway! I had been dreaming of having a studio space with beautiful natural light for about a year now. A space where I could do simple sessions like these if the weather isn’t ideal or for newborn sessions if the parent’s preferred to not use their own home. I immediately fell in love with the studio after seeing it in person, and signed the contract later that same day! The owner of the studio, Lane Lewis, is so sweet and has done an amazing job creating a space for other photographers to share. I cannot wait to start using this space more!

MK and John, thank you for always being such sweet friends! It is seriously so special for me to take your family photos each year, and I hope that you love them as much as I do!
