Nicole and Brent have been in this home for seven years. It is the first home that they purchased together, and the home that they have raised their daughter in. They love this home, the neighborhood it is in, and their huge backyard! They will be moving into a new home soon, so they wanted to have a family session here as a memory in their first home. This was not a typical session for me, but I loved this idea of capturing this sweet season of life for these friends in their beautiful home.

We met a few hours before sunset that way we would have plenty of light for the indoor photos, but also soft lighting for the outdoor photos that we took later in the session. I took photos of them doing things together that they would naturally do in their home such as snuggling on the bed and couch, reading a book together, and Amelia playing with her toys. After that, we moved outside to take some photos in front of their home and in the backyard.

Nicole and Brent, thank you for inviting me to your home to capture these memories for you! I loved getting to see your home, and I had so much fun with you all!
